Athena and Brandon were quite the couple! I love working with them in order to preserve their moment of being engaged. Having a busy and tremendously fun day as we went to Santa Monica Place, 3rd Street Promenade, the Santa Monica Pier, and the LACMA, there wasn’t a dull moment where something wasn’t happening. These two were so happy to be together and I felt honored to be able to capture those special moments!

I love working with fun couples and that’s exactly what Athena and Brandon were. They knew how to have a great time and that worked to my advantage since it gave me some incredible shots! Going to four locations – Santa Monica Place, 3rd Street Promenade, the Santa Monica Pier, and the LACMA – every spot made them come to life even more! With smiling faces and a fun attitude, you could tell that these two were having a blast!
Being together for three years, there was a strong bond that had developed between Athena and Brandon. These two were like two peas in a pod and they made every second count. Beginning the day at Santa Monica Place and 3rd Street Promenade, they walked around these shopping places and posed here and there as they did so. But it was when these two went to the Santa Monica Pier that they really came alive. Enjoying the beach, and probably reminiscing about when Brandon had proposed, these two were all smiles. Visiting the Ferris Wheel, walking along the beach, and sitting together in a life guard house, they looked so stunning together! It was especially incredible to see them as the sun began to set. Running and smiling as they dashed across the sand, it was wonderful! Setting up a creative shot, I loved the end result!
So how did Brandon propose? Well even though Athena saw it coming, he proposed on a beach while they were in Puerto Rico where her family is from. The beach was empty besides them and it was incredibly romantic. A beach proposal is definitely the way to go about it! Of course Athena said yes. They both are great for each other and balance each other out. Brandon is always keeping her on track while she is able to get him to let loose once in awhile. Sounds like a great set up to me!
After their beautiful time on the beach, there was one last place to stop – the LACMA. Here, the romance between them only grew as they posed amongst the display of lamp posts. Smiles were strong and sweet as they snuggled close. There wasn’t anything in my mind that could be better than that! Overall these two had a great time throughout their day and it was great to see this couple letting loose and having fun together!
